Squaw Valley Open for 2014-15 Season
Squaw Valley is now open for the 2014-15 winter season. The Lake Tahoe resort  opened Wed., Nov. 26, with five lifts for skiing and riding, along with tubing, scenic Aerial Tram rides, ice skating, yoga, shopping, and dining.

World Cup to Return to Squaw
The World Cup is returning to Squaw Valley.

Report Confirms Ample Water Supply
A much anticipated report concludes that Squaw Valley has sufficient water to support the proposed Village expansion and other future projects. A draft water supply assessment study was recently released by Placer County and the Squaw Valley Public Service District (SVPSD) on June 17.

Since hosting the 1960 Winter Olympics, Squaw Valley has been building a winning tradition in the world of competitive skiing, with at least one skier representing the Valley at every Olympiad since  Jimmie Heuga in 1964.

Mighty Mites: A Launching Pad
Mancuso, Sullivan and Ganong all started as members of the Mighty Mites program when they were just past the toddler stage. To date, the program boasts more than 50 skiers who moved up through the ranks to earn a position on the U.S. Ski team.
